Facilities Ministry
The facilities ministry plays an important role in Church and parsonage maintenance and development. Formerly known as the Board of Trustees, this ministry's primary focuses are on building maintenance, yearly operation budget planning and grounds upkeep issues. The ministry is managed by a committee of 6-10 members, who serve terms of two church years. Committee meetings are held monthly from 7pm-9pm, September thru June, on the third thursday of the month. The chairperson, recording secretary, and liason to the Church Council are chosen by its members.
Twice yearly, the ministry plans and oversees a fall and spring grounds cleanup event. Members have great opportunities to use personal work skills and learn new ones from others. If doing is something of interest to you, this is the ministry you want to experience.
