YMCA Partnership
The West Seattle and Fauntleroy YMCA leases space in our building for its many programs. This partnership dates from 1924, when church members encouraged the Seattle YMCA to open a branch here to respond in complementary ways to the needs of the community. We work as partners to provide programs that reflect Christian values of justice, mercy, health, healing, and love for all.
A memorandum of understanding, initially signed in 2007, spells out processes and specific areas of responsibility to ensure that this partnership continues to be based on cooperation, respect, and mutual support.
