Fauntleroy Church Planning Second Easter Online

StarWished21PS.jpg

While we are optimistic about the rollout of coronavirus vaccines, we must maintain our focus on the safety of our congregation and the wider community.  Therefore, Fauntleroy Church worship services will continue online through a second Easter season.

We reached this decision reluctantly but know that, with hard work and creativity, we can keep our congregation healthy and vibrant and also welcome many who live far afield of West Seattle and would otherwise not be participating.

The church’s re-gathering task force is closely monitoring public-health advice, progress with vaccinations, and the experience of peer congregations to be able to recommend with confidence that gathering is safe again.

Though we cannot worship in a building, our ministry to the community continues.  We invite you to check out this website for news about upcoming events.

Sunday Morning Virtual Worship - January 17, 2021

MLK 2.png

On January 17, the second Sunday of Epiphany and the Sunday before Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the scripture invites a call and response: Come and see! Come and see what this walk of love is all about. Don’t take anyone else’s word for it. Come and roll up your sleeves because that Beloved Community isn’t going to build itself. Come and see how love lifts a ladder to heaven so we can work shoulder to shoulder with the saints, martyrs, and angels still bending that arc toward justice. Come and see what love is still calling us to do and bring that light of Epiphany with you.

Worship begins at 10:00 AM. We worship via Zoom webinars. If you are a regular worshipper, you can get the Zoom link in the weekly emailed Highlights or by calling Jackie in the church office.

The weekly worship service can also be seen on the Fauntleroy Church YouTube channel:
