On May 1st, five members of our church will embark on a mission trip to the Barillas Municipality of Guatemala to help prevent respiratory illness by installing stoves in the villages of Saclecan and Jolomquisis. Our goal is to install 125 stoves and water filters and supply backpacks stuffed with school supplies and toys to 103 children. We also hope to bring our hearts and goodwill to families who happily live in circumstances that are unimaginable to most of us.
Two of Greg Dirks’ brothers are returning today from a trip sponsored by the Marine View Presbyterian Church in Tacoma. The blog of their trip provides a great preview of what our Fauntleroy team can expect during their journey: https://guatemalateamreports.org/2025/04/24
Our Fauntleroy team members Greg Dirks, Conrad Wesselhoeft, Ana Cecilia Del Claro, Penny Stone, and Cindy Lavoie will be joined by ten other team members. Please look for Facebook and Instagram postings during our journey and pray for save travels and good health as we work to improve the lives of over 700 villagers. Thank you, Fauntleroy Church, for your tremendous support!
